Catalogue reference : T.XXII,N°3-4 (FRA) Géol. méditerr. T.XXII,N°3-4 Relais d'accidents décrochants et structures hérités. Cas des structures plissées subméridiennes en Tunisie centro-orientale. Echelon strike-slip faults and inherited structures. Case of submeridian folds in East-Central Tunisia The structure analysis linked with the echelon strike-slip faults in the Enfinda, Sbikha, Ain Jelloula and Jebel Bargou areas (East-Central Tunisia)allows us to attribute simultaneously folds along submeridian and atlasic axes (NE-SW direction)to the same phase of folding. During the Tortonian compression characterized by a NW-SE shortening, two axial directions were developed in relation with the N120-140 faults agenced in left-stepping dextral strike-slip faults and the N-S accidents. The East-Central Tunisia platform was, at least since lower Cretaceous, under control of the N120-140 and N-S accidents. bibliogr.
