title of the reference :  Early structuring paleo-emersion and porosity development
Publication Date: 1998
Author : M'rabet Ali, Lazreg, Jamel, Ouahchi Abderrahmen, Messaoudi F., Ouazaa F.
Catalogue type : Livre
Catalogue reference : Early structuring paleo-emersion and porosity development a key for exploration of the Aptien Serdj carbonate reservoir in Tunisia The Aptien Serdj carbonates are proven reservoirs in Tunisia as demonstrated by numerous oil and gas discoveries in both onshore (Douleb, Semmama and Tamesmida fields) and offshore (Mahdia and Lotus finds). However, in some wells, only hydrocarbon shows were encontoured due to poor reservoir quality. Regional petroleum geology investigations, based on outcrop and subsurface data, have led to the definition of the Aptien play attributes and the identification of favorable factors including-early structuring, paleoemergence, unconformity development and related diagenesis, which particulary controlled the improvement of the reservoir petrophysical properties. porosité ; structure diagénétique ; roche mère hydrocarbure ; Aptien ; piège structural ; paléogéographie ; diagenèse ; lithostratigraphie ; microscopie électronique ; dolomie ; dolomitisation ; profil sismique ; formation Serj ; Tunisie ; Tunisie Centrale ; J.
