(FRA) Bull. Soc. Géol. Fr. Découverte de fossiles dans le calcaire du Djebel Ressas (Tunisie). D'abord considéré comme dévonien par G. Stache (1876), puis attribué au Jurassqieu par G. Meneghini (1884)et M. Canavari (1893), ce calcaire a livré une ammonite qui se rapproche de Perisphinctes (?)venetiatus, Terebratula moravica et un crustacé : Prosopon marginatum. Il s'agit donc de Tithonique sup. qui présente de grandes analogies avec celui de Sicile.
