About the postponement of the 8th International Symposium on Charophytes - March 2020
In response to the instructions from the Ministry of Health regarding the rapid spread of the Corona virus emerging in many countries of the world, and in order to ensure the safety of the participants, the Tunisian National Mining Office regret to inform you that it was decided to postpone the 8th International Symposium on Charophytes, which was programmed on 23-26 March 2020 in Tunisia to a later date (between September and October 2020). This decision was taken after consulting with our partners and informing the supervising authority. Moreover, several travel restrictions have been imposed on many participants by their governments.
The postponed date will be announced as soon as possible after agreement between the various organizing parties.
We ask you to be understanding regarding this situation and react positively to this postponement and help to make this international event a success.
