At the beginning of the bibiliographic-research automatization, a database has been implemented, which was called “ATLAS”. This database is for public access and currently lists more than 9000 references on the Tunisian geology.
The Documentation and Database service is a key center in the NOM. This center, which is allocated with two consultation points, offers to the researcher an important quantity of information about the Tunisian soil and subsoil and the world’s geology as well. This geo-information is to be found in two databases: Atlas and Universe.
