Etude géologique et géophysique de la concession de Sidi el Itayem en Tunisie orientale - Sahel de Sfax. Histoire géologique du bassin et évolution de la fracturation et des structures du Crétacé au Plio-Quaternaire. The use of geological and geophysical data (Sidi el Itayem wells, diagraphy, sismic reflexion and gravity), allowed us to analyse the geological history of Sidi el itayem and the structural evolution from the Cretaceous to Plio-Quaternary period. The interpretation of sismic maps and sections, lead us to define for each tectonic phase, the nature and direction of tectonic stress and show the importance of East-West and NW-SE faults and their relations with structural traps.
