Les petits foraminifères benthiques des eaux peu profondes de l'Eocène inférieur dans la Tunisie Orientale et Méridionale Shallow-water smaller benthic Foraminifera from the uppermost Palaeocene and Lower Eocene of the Ashart Nord N°1 borehole (offshore eastern Tunisia)and six onshore outcrop sites in eastern and southern Tunisia have been analysed, based upon planktonic foraminiferal biozones, and are discussed in terms of their palaeoenvironmental significance and local biostratigraphical potential. Five new species are described : Baggina bismuthi, Uvigerina fedeli, Nonion ashtartensi, N. tunisiensi and Anomalinoides lordi. bibliogr.
