Iron and Copper ore occurences in NW Tunisia. first Mining Conf in the Great Jamahiriya The study investigated the occurence of iron and copper ores in NW Tunisia. These occurence are withing rock formations belonging to the Triassic and Cretaceous geological ages. Field investigations and petrographical examination indicated a link between these occurences and the tectonic evolution of the region and proved the thermal origin of these veir ores. There are four consequent mineralogical occrences.
