Ciry:d'autre part d'un sondage profond situé à Bir Soltane,à 40 km plus à l'W.Les calcaires du Tebaga renferment en abondance des fusulinidés appartenant aux genres Dunbarula,Schwagerina,Chusenella (C.rabate nov.sp.),Neoschwagerina (N.glintzboeckeli nov.sp.,N.tebagaensis nov. sp.,N.fusiformis n.sp.)et Yabeina:le genre endothyroïdé Kahlerina est aussi représenté (K.africana nov.sp.).Le sondage de Bir Soltane a révélé la présence des genres Ttaffelle (St. tunetana nov.sp. et St. ciryi nov.sp.)et Afghanella (A.robbinsaenov.sp.,A.africana nov.sp. et A. tumida nov.sp.)abondants à certains niveaux:les genres Verbeekina,Neoschwagerina et Sumarina y sont présents mais rares.
