The foreign operators working in Tunisia

The appearance of the new mining code along with the promotion policy that followed the NOM, arrived to create a new dynamic in the mining-research sector. Indeed, several foreign enterprises manifestated their interest to the country and came to settle in Tunisia.
Today, there are six mining enterprises that are working in the mining research sector in Tunisia. These enterprises, which have Canadian, Australian, American and Japanese nationalities, acquired research authorizations and licenses to prospect the basic metals (Pb-Zn) and the noble metals (or) and copper
