The National Office of Mines has the pleasure to invite the scientific community from around the world to participate in the 8th International Symposium on Charophytes in Tunisia , 23-26 Marsh 2020 for the first time in Africa and the Arab world in cooperation with The Science Faculty of Tunis (FST), The National Oil Company (ETAP) and the Science Faculty of Sfax (FSS).
The meeting will cover a large range of topics concerned with Charophyta such as Biostratigraphy,ecology, paleo-biogeography, Phylogeny ...
Oral and poster presentations will be scheduled during 3 full days.
Pre and post-Symposium field-trips are scheduled in the Northern and Southern Tunisia (living and fossil Charophyte sites)
