ATLAS and UNIVERSE


This database puts at the public, geologists, researchers, and the Tunisian and foreign economic operators’ usage :
  • 15000 bibliographic references.
  • A sizable number of geological and thematic maps.

ATLAS BASE


The base ATLAS, which is a database of the Tunisian soil and subsoil, currently manages a varied basic documentation that is approximately constituted of :
  • 8000 bibliographical references and other 3000 that are still in the keyboarding process.
  • 259 maps, 173 of which are geological maps in different scales
  • 86 topographic bases in 1/50.000 scale
  • Thematic maps (geophysics, useful substances, geochemical in different scales)
This information is relative to a Tunisian geological covering cut in 06 regions.

UNIVERSE BASE


Designated generally for the geo-information in the earth sciences, this database has had more than 4760 bibliographic references :
  • 3838 monographs
  • 628 seminary, conference… acts
  • 30 references on the economy and the mining statistics
  • 254 reference works Geologic and thematic maps of some worldwide countries

The researchers and economic operators (Tunisians and foreigners) have had at their disposal customized research methods by :
  • Organism
  • Theme or key word
  • Author
  • Region (locality)
  • Publication date.
