The Maastrichtian part of section II exposed at the locality of Kef en Nsoura, Enfidaville, Tunisia, contains a rich and well-preserved planktic foraminiferal fauna. The section is zoned on the basis of the Maastrichtian index fossils belonging to this fauna. Nine species belonging to the genera Globotruncana Cushman and Rugotruncana Br¤nnimann Brown are discussed.
