A Saint-Arnaud (Algerie), ont été recueillis : Mastodon gr. arvernensis, El. planifrons, Stylohipparion, et un Libytherrium voisin de Sivatherium, et, à l'Ichkeul : El. planifrons, Stylohipparion. Rhinoceros et des antilopes.
